November Scripture Reading~Let Go, Pray & Move

I am so thankful for this beautiful Fall Season we are experiencing! The leaves are beautiful right now in our lil hometown and God’s Art display is gorgeous! We face different seasons in our personal lives, like the changing seasons, and our prayer is that you can let go of some of the “hold-ups” in your life and give them to God.

This month we’ve provided a few scriptures to focus on a week at a time. Read the scripture out loud daily, write it out, and pray on it as God guides your heart.

Week 1: Colassians 4:2-6

“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”

Question to consider: Am I devoted to prayer in my life? What areas of my life do I need to refocus my prayer life on?

Action: Write out your prayers this week in a journal, sticky note, make a list, etc.

Week 2: 1 Timothy 4:4-5 and 1 Thessalonians 5:18

“For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.” 1 Timothy 4:4-5

"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Question to consider: Am I viewing a challenging time in my life right now as something ‘good to be thankful for’?

Action: Write out a challenge you are facing and just be real honest with God about how you feel about it, what your questions are and ask Him to show you the way.

Make a list of things to be Thankful for in your life! Read it when things get tough and add to it.

Week 3: John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Question to consider: Do you know Him or just know of Him? Is HE your personal Savior?

Action: If you know Him, PRAY for those that don't! Write their names down as God gives them to you and take their name to the Lord. What a privilege it is to pray for the Lost.

I pray HE provides a comfort and shows you if you are doubting, He reminds you of that time He came to you, He moves you to rekindle the spirit and relationship He desires to have with you and brings JOY to your heart.

Love and Prayers,

~The Lord family
